If you like your golf framed by trees and your evenings finished with a stroll by the sea, Hotel du Parc is a cracking base on the Opale Coast. Set in peaceful woodland and just an easy drive from Hardelot beach and the town centre, it's geared up for straightforward golf breaks where everything stays close and uncomplicated.

The big draw is Golf d'Hardelot's two-course line-up. You've got Les Pins, the classic, pine-lined test where hitting the right side of the fairway matters and shaping the ball is properly rewarded. Then there's Les Dunes, the newer sibling, which asks different questions. It's tighter in places and more about plotting your way round than simply smashing driver, so course management and a sensible club choice off the tee pay dividends.

Back at the hotel, there are 81 comfortable rooms, with balcony options that look out over the forest, plus facilities to keep everyone happy after 18 holes. You're also close enough to the coast to mix in a beach visit, a decent meal in town or a relaxed non-golf afternoon if you're travelling with a mixed group.

Who is this for?
Golfers who want two contrasting rounds at Golf d'Hardelot, a quiet hotel base and the option of a quick dash to the beach after the golf.

Who is it best for?
Couples, small groups and societies who enjoy tree-lined courses where accuracy and good decisions beat brute force. Also suits anyone combining golf with a coastal escape or a stopover en route to southern France.

Accommodation at Hotel Du Parc

Hotel du Parc has 81 rooms and 25 self-catered apartments, which makes it a handy fit for everything from couples' long weekends to bigger society trips that want a bit more space. The setting is a big part of the appeal, with mature woodland and parkland surrounds that feel calm and quiet once you're back from the course.

Rooms are finished to a solid standard and come with the practical bits you'd expect on a golf break, including mini-bar, satellite TV and internet access. If you can, it's worth asking about a balcony or terrace, as the forest views are a nice perk when you're winding down after 18 holes. The rooms have a distinctly British feel to them, which makes sense given the number of UK golfers who visit, and everything is decorated and furnished to a level that feels comfortable without being flashy.

If you're travelling as a group or with family, the apartments are the standout option. You get a spacious living area plus a kitchen and bathroom, so you can keep things flexible, whether that's a quick breakfast before an early tee time or a relaxed evening in. For longer stays, self-catering can also help keep budgets under control without compromising on comfort. The apartments work particularly well for societies or groups who want a bit more room to spread out and a base where everyone can gather without crowding into a standard hotel room.

When you're not golfing, there's enough on site to keep everyone occupied. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and sauna, plus a tennis court, and there are billiards and games rooms for slower afternoons. If the weather plays ball, you're only a short drive from Hardelot beach and the wider Côte d'Opale coastline, where the white cliffs and clear blue water make for a striking backdrop to a post-golf stroll.

Food-wise, the hotel restaurant is well regarded locally and draws praise for its innovative menu and charming atmosphere. It's one of the better dining rooms in Hardelot, so you don't need to venture far if you want a good meal after your round. If you do fancy a change of scene, Hardelot has a good spread of dining options. Le Whitley is one of the better-known independent choices in town, serving traditional local cuisine like roast chicken and chips in a relaxed setting.

Hotel du Parc continues to build its reputation as one of the region's most reliable bases for golfers, combining quality accommodation, strong facilities and direct access to two championship courses. It's an ideal spot to experience Golf d'Hardelot without the fuss of juggling multiple hotels or tee-time bookings, and the mix of rooms and apartments means it works for a wide range of trip types and group sizes.

Excellent hotel, coffee in the room would have been helpful. Food was not perfect but the second night much better than the first night for some reason! Snooker table a + but chalk for cue would help not difficult to supply. Rooms large and good, shower not that powerful but OK.

Ideally located for golf, easy to get to and from Eurotunnel, great rooms, staff all really friendly, lots of Brits staying, presumably for the golf. Only downside was poor breakfast set up - plenty of choice but egg boiler and toaster both totally useless. Despite the latter would go back. Very popular for evening meals - we couldn't get in as fully booked both nights.

Good location. Meals okay. Drinks on the expensive side but that is common to all places in France.

We were only at the hotel for one night and didn't use the restaurant or bar. The rooms we had have had a complete refit since we were there last year which was very pleasing as they had become a bit 'tired'. From a location perspective the hotel is brilliantly situated for several really good courses - particlularly 'Les Dunes' and 'Les Pins'. which are both brilliant - Les Dunes being, in our opinion, the best course we've played in Northern France.

Very happy with the room the rooms have been redecorated to a nice standard we disnt use the restaurant but breakfast was fine. The tennis courts need a bit of work to them looking very tired surface and nets in need of attention.

Perfect location for 2 Hardelot courses, town is walkable but 20minutes. Lack of taxi network in the area makes it an expensive option

Very good stay . Only frustration was they ignored an email request to book us in for dinner on 1st night . On arrival we were informed that restaurant was full. Then they could not find a taxi to take us into Hardelot but finally they squeezed us into restaurant at hotel . Food good and wines choices good at reasonable prices so a thumbs up

Super no fuss hotel, centrally located. Had our keys already waiting for us when we checked in late on Day 1.
