The TorreMirona Hotel has 49 rooms, with 24 recently renovated. Rooms come with free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a safe and Rituals welcome products. Décor is classic Mediterranean rather than ultra-modern, so it feels relaxed and resort-like after a day on the course. If you want extra space, there are one and two-bedroom self-catering apartments with fully equipped kitchens around 400 metres from the main hotel, a handy option for longer stays or groups who like a bit of independence.
For recovery, Spa Dubhé (opened in 2017) is reserved for hotel guests and includes a Jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, bi-thermal showers and a quiet relaxation room. It's not a huge spa, but it does the job very well, especially if you book your slot after your round. If you want more sports facilities beyond golf, the Torremirona Sport & Spa complex adds a swimming pool, padel and tennis courts, a sports field and a menu of body treatments and massages with experienced therapists.
Food and drink is straightforward in the best way. The hotel restaurant serves Mediterranean cooking with a modern Catalan edge, while the Lobby Bar and terrace are ideal for a post-round beer or a glass of local wine with views over the course towards the Pyrenees. The region is also known for excellent restaurants and brilliant local wine, with Denominación de Origen Empordà wineries scattered across the area. Needless to say, you won't go hungry.
It's also set up for groups. Event and meeting spaces can host anything from 10 to 300 people, which works well for societies, corporate days and small tournaments.
Practical note: the AVE high-speed station is about five minutes away by car and puts you in Barcelona centre in under an hour, useful if you want to tag on a city day without driving.
