Noria Golf Club sits just 5 minutes from the heart of Marrakech, which makes it a great shout if you want proper golf without sacrificing the medina, rooftop dinners and late-night atmosphere the city's famous for. It's also straightforward to reach from the UK and Ireland, with plenty of direct flights and a flight time of around four hours from many airports.
This is a favourite with British golfers looking for a fun, playable round rather than a bruising championship slog. Off the tee it's generally forgiving, so mid-to-high handicappers can relax and swing freely, but it still asks a few questions as you get closer to the greens. If you're after a confidence-boosting round in the sun, Noria is a strong shout.
Expect water to come into play on several holes, strategic bunkering and enough variety in hole lengths to keep things moving from the first tee to the 18th. The setting mixes Moroccan character with modern conditioning, and it suits sociable groups who want a good round, a good laugh and still plenty left in the tank for the evening.
If you're building a multi-course Marrakech break, Noria works brilliantly as a warm-up round or a low-stress finale before you fly home.
Who is this for? Golfers who want maximum Marrakech time with minimal transfer hassle, pairing a morning tee time with an afternoon in the souks.
Who is it best for? Mixed-ability groups and mid-to-high handicappers, plus anyone fitting in multiple rounds over a short break who wants a relaxed day that won't wipe you out.

We enjoyed the course which was challenging. We were warmly welcomed and assisted on arrival and started on time. We were provided with practice facilities/driving range and given complementary balls.

It’s a new course and will improve as it matures. Some of the greens were patchy especially the 18th.

We had a five and a half hour round which was very frustrating. The course is very bland especially the first nine and quite in memorable. The only real challenge is the number of bunkers but many of the holes are a green in the middle of a field. Won’t be rushing back there.
