Martin's Brugge is a smart, central base just off one of Bruges' prettiest squares, ideal if you want proper city atmosphere after your round. You're close enough to wander the cobbled streets, canals and classic Belgian bars on foot, but tucked away enough to dodge the worst of the crowds when you turn in.
The Martin's group has invested heavily here, and it shows. While it's officially three-star, the overall feel is more polished than you might expect, with a clean, contemporary look and a well-run, no-fuss setup that suits golfers who want everything to work without paying five-star money.
For a Bruges golf break, location is the main win. You can head out to courses around the city, then be back in time for a shower and an easy evening out. If you're travelling as a couple or a small group, it's the kind of place that keeps the trip flexible: play golf in the morning, enjoy Bruges at night and skip the taxi reliance.
Weekend supplements apply, so check the latest pricing with our team before you lock in dates.

Who is it best for?

Martin's Brugge has 199 rooms, styled in a modern, practical way that works well for short golf stays. Expect a clean, contemporary finish, comfortable bedding and the key essentials you actually use on a golf trip, including plasma-screen satellite TVs. If you're bringing a travel bag and a set of clubs, it's a sensible choice for a city-centre hotel, with enough space to get organised without living out of a suitcase on the floor.
What you don't get here is a "resort bubble", and that's the point. This is a base for playing golf nearby and enjoying Bruges properly. If your group wants spas, pools and on-site entertainment, you're better looking at an out-of-town resort. If you want an easy, central hotel where you can walk to dinner and be back in minutes, it's spot on.
The hotel's position just off a quiet square means you get the best of both worlds: proximity to Bruges' main attractions without the noise and foot traffic that comes with being right on the Markt. It's a short stroll to the Belfry, the canals and the cluster of restaurants and bars that make Bruges such a popular destination, but you're far enough removed to enjoy a peaceful base after a day on the course.
Food-wise, you've got plenty of choice within a short stroll, from classic Flemish cooking to smarter bistros, plus the bars Bruges is famous for. The hotel offers breakfast, which is worth considering if you've got an early tee time. Rates and inclusions can vary, so we'll confirm what's included when we quote.
From a golfer's point of view, the logistics are simple. You're well placed for day trips to quality courses in the area, then you can reset back at the hotel before heading out again. That balance, golf on the doorstep and a proper city evening, is exactly why Martin's Brugge works so well for groups, couples and weekend breaks. The setup means you can play your round, return to shower and change, then head out into the city for the evening without needing to plan taxis or transfers.

Lovely hotel in prime position, good hot & cold breakfast selection. Excellent staff. On the downside if you want to use the hotels parking facility it will cost you an additional 30 euro's a day.

First rate location for a trip to Brugge and worked really well for our group of 12. Parked our minibus right outside the front for off loading bags and clubs the first night, but left the clubs on board the second night as parking was close by. The Olive Tree restaurant virtually over the road was great fr the group and we enjoyed Brassiere Souffleur across the main square as well.
