What I like about Innisbrook is that it doesn't feel like a high-rise, busy resort. The low-rise lodges sit across 900 wooded acres, which keeps it calm and surprisingly secluded for Florida. Defined by tree-lined fairways and rolling terrain, Copperhead tests players with its many uphill and downhill shots, significant elevation changes and a variety of water-protected approach shots. The surrounding lakes, ponds and swamp lands are home to abundant wildlife, including bald eagles, alligators, blue herons, fox squirrels and many other types of water fowl. With tight fairways, intimidating water hazards and abundant bunkers, the newly renovated and lengthened Island Course is considered by many to be as equally demanding as Copperhead. The extraordinarily picturesque Island has played host to numerous U.S. Open qualifiers and NCAA Championships and has also been ranked among the country’s top 50 resort courses by Golf Digest.
The course was the site of the first LPGA-sanctioned Legends Tour Open Championship and returned to the Island Course in 2010, proving that women professionals appreciate Innisbrook’s golfing experience as much as their PGA TOUR® counterparts.

In addition to its tournament venues, Innisbrook® offers two equally beautiful championship courses with less complex designs. Similar in terrain to Copperhead, the North Course is known for its beautiful par threes, tight fairways and an abundance of trees and well-bunkered greens.
It has long been popular with players who enjoy a more forgiving golf course. Recent course enhancements include additional yardage to selected par 4s and 5s, along with strategically placed bunkers and “waste bunkers.”

The South Course features a links-style approach, both in terms of rolling terrain and numerous fairway bunkering. The breezes from the Gulf of Mexico usually come sweeping across the wide open fairways, helping to round out a perfect foursome of golf courses. This is a comfortable course for the casual player or one just beginning to learn the game. Play from the back tees and it is as challenging as the North Course.

Between the four, you've got enough variety to play 72 holes without it feeling repetitive, and the fact that the resort shuttles your clubs between courses means you can tee off at different times and locations without any hassle.
Innisbrook's accommodation works brilliantly for golf groups. Suites come in one, two and three-bedroom options with full kitchens, big living and dining areas plus a patio or balcony. Ideal for a post-round card game, a few drinks and an early night before the next tee time. The suites have been refreshed with a modern, cleaner aesthetic that feels more contemporary than traditional resort style. Everything is functional and comfortable, with enough room for groups or families to share without feeling cramped.
The kitchens are fully equipped, so if you prefer to keep things low-key in the evening or grab breakfast before an early tee time, you've got the option. That flexibility is handy when you're playing multiple rounds and don't want to be tied to restaurant schedules.
Five dining venues cover most bases. The steakhouse is the go-to for a sit-down meal, while the sports bar and casual American grill offer more relaxed options. The grill also does fully prepared meals to take back to your suite, which is handy if you'd rather eat in after a long day. The Osprey Bar overlooks the golf greens and catches the sunset, with indoor and outdoor seating, open firepits and live entertainment. It's a solid spot to wind down with a drink and compare scorecards.
For recovery, the Salamander Spa is a 20,000-square-foot facility with treatment terraces, steam rooms, a meditation labyrinth and a relaxation courtyard. The therapists offer everything from facials and body wraps to deep tissue and sports massages, the latter being particularly useful if you've walked multiple rounds or played Copperhead's undulating stretches. It's a full-size spa setup, not an afterthought, and golfers will appreciate the focus on muscle recovery and relaxation.

A sprawling metropolis of a resort that due to the heat you cannot walk around it, thankfully they have a resort transport system that is great to use. Staff are fantastic and couldn't do enough for you, food was great tasting and plentiful, also reasonably priced. Room very comfortable with air conditioning working overtime. A great resort that we will definitely return to.

This is a purpose built golf resort hotel. We had a large apartment with kitchen and a view over the first hole of the Copperhead course. Nice apartment, cleaned daily. The reception was helpful. Restaurants / bars are typical golf club - decent food, although limited range.

Played once from the black tees, bye far and away the best condition, fastest greens with pins in championship position, a true test of your golf that forces you to think of your approach shots carefully, whilst the snake pit is the most famous part we think the 14th and 15th are fantastic, a sweeping par 5 (14) and a testing par 3 (15), could play this course every day for a year and still be challenged on almost every hole. Scored 82 (handicap 8) and 92 (handicap 15), both pleased with the scores.

Again played twice from the black tees (tips) a far easier course than the other two but it does have great par 5's and par3's, par 4's good but not memorable, told middle part like a links course, hmmm, only in looks with rolling fairways, still plays like a parkland though. again true greens not as quick as island but still good.

Played twice, first day and third, took a full round to understand the different style of golf due to the different grass type. A very tough course with long 200yds+ par 3's (we played from the black(tips) tees) and the rest of the course doesn't give you much of a break either, greens tough to read but very true and quick, stopping the ball from outside 150yds not so easy but wedge's stop well. fantastic course

Fabulous course. Plenty of water and bunkers. Great condition due to Valspar tournament in 2 weeks. Erecting stands around some greens slightly spoiled those holes.

Decent course in pretty good condition. Water on most holes, but generally avoidable. Greens excellent. Fairways OK. Average club house and pro shop..
