3 Nights, 2 Rounds
- 3 Nights Bed and Breakfast at Hotel Baia
- 1 Round at Oitavos Dunes
- 1 Round at Quinta Da Marinha Resort
3 Nights, 2 Rounds
Perched right on the waterfront in the heart of Cascais, Hotel Baia is all about location. You're just metres from Fisherman's Beach and the seafront promenade, with the town's restaurants, bars and shops a short stroll away. For a golf break, that's a big plus: play along the Lisbon coast by day, then walk straight out for dinner and a cold one afterwards, no car required.
The hotel has 113 rooms and offers a reliable, comfortable base rather than full-on resort luxury. Most rooms come with a balcony and many face the Atlantic, so if you like a sea view with your morning coffee, it's worth requesting an Ocean View room when you book.
Lisbon Airport is close enough for a straightforward transfer, and Cascais Railway Station is under five minutes' walk away if you fancy swapping golf for a day in the capital. With the Sintra mountains behind you and the bay in front, it's an easy place to settle into for a weekend, a short break or a longer stay built around great golf and proper coastal atmosphere.
Who is this for?
Golf groups, societies and couples who want a central base in Cascais where you can walk to the beach and bars after 18 holes, and still have easy access to Lisbon by train.
Who is it best for?
Golfers squeezing in a weekend or short break who'd rather spend time on the course and in town than in a remote resort. If "park the clubs, shower, then straight out for seafood" sounds like your kind of trip, you'll fit right in.

Rooms at Hotel Baia cover the essentials you actually use on a golf trip: air-conditioning, satellite TV and a direct-dial telephone. The feel is simple and well run, with a friendly, unpretentious vibe that suits groups and couples who plan to be out on the courses or in town rather than stuck in their room. Most rooms have a balcony, and the sea-facing options are the ones to go for if you'll spend any time watching the boats come and go across the bay.
Facilities include a covered pool and a gym on the top floor. Handy if you want a loosen-up swim or a quick session after travel, but let's be honest, with the beach on the doorstep most guests end up outside. Fisherman's Beach is right there for sunbathing, a dip in the Atlantic or water sports if you're feeling energetic between rounds.
After golf, the rooftop Sunset Bar is a highlight, set by the pool with wide views over Cascais bay. It's a cracking spot for a post-round recap. The Blue Bar is another popular option, with modern décor and a good choice of drinks, ideal when you want somewhere easy without overthinking it.
There's an on-site restaurant, plus free Wi-Fi in public areas. That said, one of the best parts of staying here is eating your way around Cascais. You'll find everything from no-frills peri-peri chicken to excellent seafood, often just a few minutes' walk from the front door. If you want help matching the hotel to tee times and the right mix of local courses, give us a shout and we'll tailor it around your group.
